Прослављена прва слава Фолклорне Групе Вук Караџић
Ретко да има видети шта лепше од раздрагане младости и блиставих дечијих лица. Млади чланови Фолклорне Групе Вук Караџић у Ванкуверу ходе уском стазом православном и својим фолклорним наступима и песмама дотичу српска срца.
У суботу, 18. фебруара, по први пут чланови ове фолклорне групе су прославили своју прву славу, свог заштитника и молитвеника Светог мученика Трифуна. Славска прослава је била заиста предивна и велики број младих и деце је дошао да прослави своју славу.
Прослава је започела Вечерњим богослужењем који је служио старешина Храма протојереј ставрофор Мирослав Дејанов.

Update, Dec 15, 2011
- Practice is cancelled for the 3rd ensemble on Monday, Dec 19th due to Sveti Nikola (dance teacher Kristina will not be able to be there).
- All dancers in the 2nd and 3rd ensembles are invited to our winter social activity: TUBING (tobogganing) at Cypress Mountain on Saturday, Dec. 24th. It includes rental of snow tube for 2 hours, and lunch and hot chocolate in the lodge afterwards. It should be a fun activity for dancers (and parents!). Please RSVP your attendance by replying to this email, as we need to make a group booking and we need to confirm our final numbers. All cost for dancers will be covered from our budget.
- The second ensemble will have a special practice on Monday, Dec. 26th: it will be a regular practice PLUS a pajama party. Make sure to dress in your P.J.'s and be ready for FUN!
